Magnus Eventus Inc. is continuously producing job fairs for almost 3 years now. The company already made a mark not only with their various clients but also with the applicants, but they feel that what they are doing is not enough.
Last January 23 & 24, 2013 Magnus Eventus had their first job fair for 2013 at the Activity Center of Trinoma Mall, North Avenue corner EDSA, Quezon City entitled "Trinoma January Job Fair! Oh, Start the year right part 3." 43 companies from various industries and 4,768 jobseekers attended the 2 days event.
During this event Mrs. Angelu De Leon-Rivera was there to give support to our jobseekers and employers. MEi also invited the Philippine Society for Orphan Disorders (PSOD) and OI Support Philippines (Osteogenesis Imperfecta - Brittle Bone Condition) for an awareness campaign. During the job fair signatures were gathered from various recipients to show support to enact a Rare Disease Act of the Philippines.
It is not just an awareness for the Rare Diseases but also to ignite and inform the employers that PWD must also be treated with the same opportunities. A special lane was provided not only to the Jobseekers Card Members but also for Person With Disabilities.
Indeed, Mr. Will Aucina, 38 years old, a PWD in a wheelchair applied during the Magnus Trinoma Job Fair. Magnus staff approached and assisted Mr. Aucina according to him "I'm prepared to enter the jungle and hoping to get a job." He was asked about his job preference and was guided to "Transcom" a BPO company. A month after, Magnus Eventus learned that he was hired as a Call Center Agent and successfully passed the training of the said call center company.
Out of 43 participating companies, 75 jobseekers was reported to be hired by 6 employers who recently submitted their placement report for the said event, we are expecting more reports from the remaining employers.
Knowing that we were able to help is such a fulfillment. Rest assured that every event of Magnus Eventus Inc. is made with advocacy. Our main goal is to help. One must act so we can achieve something.
Help MEi spread the NEWS about various job opportunities happening on March 14 & 15, 2013 from 10am -5pm at the Activity Center of Alabang Town Center, Alabang-Zapote Road, Muntinlupa City.

The 3rd MEI Mega Job Fair @ Starmall EDSA-Shaw last April 7 & 8 was another record breaking success for Magnus Eventus Inc. More than 3,400 jobseekers applied at the event and all the 30 exhibitors are satisfied with the turn-out of the event.
Magnus Eventus Inc. aims to put employers and would- be employees in direct contact with each other to explore mutually beneficial relationships. MEi’s goal is not just to bring in quantity but also quality applicants who will qualify with what the companies are looking for. MEi’s protocol is to provide applicants with employers who are legal companies and who will comply with the requirements of the Department of Labor and Employment.
Though Magnus Eventus Inc. do receive reports that there are employers who are victimized by people who are stealing terminal registration forms with the contact information of the jobseekers. And applicants are also being victimized by these same people by handing out flyers and inviting them to go to their office. Unfortunately, these people are not legit exhibitors/employers of Magnus Eventus Inc. and they are considered as illegal recruiters since they do not comply with the DOLE requirements.
This kind of problem are very rampant in every job fair, that is why Magnus Eventus Inc is vigilant to get rid of this type of people. During the 2 days event at Starmall EDSA-Shaw Magnus Eventus Inc caught 5 people giving out flyers to applicants, with no company names they are representing. Unluckily, they gave flyers to the Organizer and to the DOLE representative. They were brought to the mall security office for investigation and to Brgy. Wack-wack and filed blotter complaints as warning to these people. These people were released after getting the important information of the company they are representing.
Their modus operandi is to approach applicants at the job fair and entice them to join their company. One way to recognize these people is they are giving small flyers without the name of their company. They are not registered legitimate exhibitors. They will encourage them to join by shelling out money from Php 500 to Php 7,000 for membership and buy the package kit or dental cards and the only way to earn is to get more referrals that will do the same modus operandi.
Magnus Eventus Inc. has an agreement with the Department of Labor and Employment that no fees shall be collected from the applicants. Magnus Eventus Inc. believes that a Job fair is a venue to find job, where applicants get hired and earn money and not the other way around. MEi hopes that jobseekers be wise enough to choose the company that is legit and that will help them prosper.
MEi will be vigilant with their job fairs and they are warning all those company with this scam that they will stay vigilant with all their succeeding events. To know more about the latest Magnus Eventus Inc . job fairs please visit www.magnuseventus .com

Hi Everyone! Once again, we have good news to impart to all of you. Our most recent event, the 2nd MEi Job Fair @ Victory Central Mall, was another great success. Almost three thousand people attended the event. We were a little concerned at first, since the typhoon brought lots of rains and some areas even experienced prolonged electricity disruption just a few days before the event. But we were all very pleasantly surprised that a lot of people showed up. Hopefully, we were able to help these attendees find jobs and we are also hoping that our exhibitors were able to fill their recruitment needs. To everyone, thank you for your continued support and we will see at our next event on July 29 & 30 at the Farmers Plaza in Cubao. See you there!

Greetings! We are happy to announce that our most recent event, the MEi Job Fair @ Starmall EDSA, has proven to be as successful as our first two events. Almost three thousand people attended the event, making it the most successful job fair ever held at the Starmall. It seems Magnus Eventus Inc. is making a habit of breaking attendance records in all the malls we've held events in. This is a very good habit to acquire, especially from the exhibitors'/sponsors' point of view. We would like to thank all our sponsors, partners, exhibitors and of course, the public, for their continued support. We hope to see all of you at our future events, the next being the 2nd MEi Job Fair @ Victory Mall on July 15 & 16. The people behind Magnus Eventus Inc. will do everything they can to ensure that this event will be just as successful and just as well-attended as the first three events. See you there!!
